Although not in every line and perhaps not on every page, the message of Christ overshadows the entire Old Testament. Finding Christ is the key that both unlocks and locks in the message of the whole Word of God. Jesus Christ is God's final, perfect, incomparable Word. Beginning at Moses seeks to follow the example of Christ Himself Who, "beginning at Moses and all the prophets," expounded from all the Scripture the things concerning Himself.

Discover Jesus Throughout the Old Testament! The son trudges uphill, bearing wood for his own sacrifice; his father has decided to give him up to death. What biblical event does this bring to mind? Is it Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22, or Christ’s passion in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? The kinship between these two stories is deeper than mere coincidence. Christ is present in the story of Abraham and Isaac. In fact, he is present on every page of the Old Testament. Christians seem to have forgotten that the Old Testament has everything to do with Jesus Christ. In Jesus on Every Page, David Murray guides the reader down his own Road to Emmaus, describing how the Scriptures were opened to him, revealing Jesus from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Dr. Murray’s ten simple ways to seek and find Christ in the Old Testament unveil the face of Christ in the creation, the law, the psalms, the prophets, and the proverbs. Recognizing Jesus in the full breadth of Scripture is important for every Christian. Whether you are preaching Jesus through Old Testament readings or just beginning to discover the reality of Christ in the Old Testament, Jesus on Every Page provides an accessible guide to the increasingly popular subject of Jesus in the Old Testament books. Have your own Road to Emmaus experience and know the Old Testament for what it truly is: full of Jesus.

Christ: The Angel of God.Christ: The Battle BowChrist: A Goodly CedarSince the time that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour in 1976, I have heard it said that He was the focus of the Bible. I have never doubted that. I have heard it said that Jesus Christ was the subject of each book of the Bible, including the Old Testament. I struggled with that, not because it was untrue, but because no one in my theological circle submitted proof that it was true. This book is proof that Jesus Christ can be found in each book of the Old Testament. Therefore, Jesus Christ is available to become the subject of any book of the Bible if we take this approach to the Scriptures. What is the benefit of this approach? The Lord Jesus Christ becomes more precious to our souls as we encounter the varied facets of His Person. That should be enough, but now we can gain new insights into the Godhead and the inspired Word of God. This approach provides a fresh reason to study the Bible and a new direction in sermon and lesson preparation. Personal and family devotions are given new life in Christ. A fresh breeze blows across the pages of the Old Testament. The book is arranged for ease of use. Section One contains all the designations of Christ arranged alphabetically. Section Two contains all the physical aspects of Christ arranged alphabetically. Section Three is arranged by the mentions of Christ in each book of the Old Testament.Do you have your Bible? Do you have this book? Begin your journey seeking for ..".the unsearchable riches of Christ.

A New York Times Bestseller! In the 2014 New York Times bestseller Jesus on Trial, David Limbaugh made a case for the Gospels as hard evidence of the existence of God, drawing on his own spiritual journey from skeptic to believer. Now, in The Emmaus Code, Limbaugh unlocks the mysteries of the Old Testament and reveals hints of Jesus Christ's arrival through all thirty-nine Old Testament books. The key to the secrets of the Old Testament, Limbaugh argues, is the crucial New Testament encounter between the risen Jesus and two travelers on the road to Emmaus. With that key, and with Limbaugh as a deft guide, readers of The Emmaus Code will come to a startling new understanding of the Old Testament as a clear and powerful heralding of Jesus Christ's arrival. Limbaugh takes readers on a revealing journey from Genesis through Malachi, demonstrating that a consistent message courses through every one of the Old Testament's thirty-nine books: the power, wonder, and everlasting love of Jesus Christ.

Excerpt from Christ in All the Scriptures: And Beginning at Moses and All the Prophets He Expounded Unto Them in All the Scriptures the Things Concerning Himself On the glorious resurrection morning Mary went to seek for Jesus. She sought Him in the tomb, but He stood beside her. She thought He was the gardener, but the one word "Mary" revealed to her her Saviour. As we read some passage in the Old Testament how often our eyes are holden, and we see only the earthly form: we see Aaron the priest, or David the shepherd, or Solomon the king; but if, like Mary, we are really seeking the Lord Jesus, He manifests Himself to us through the outward type, and we turn in glad surprise, and, looking up, say, "Rabboni" (lit. my great One). As we continue to seek, we find Him in the least expected places of the Old Testament, until the whole grows luminous with the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. "In the volume of the book it is written of Me." All the lines of history and type, of Psalm and prophecy, converge towards one centre - Jesus Christ, and to one supreme event, His death on the Cross for our salvation. And from that centre again all the lines of history in the book of Acts, of experience in the Epistles, and of prophecy in Revelation radiate out once more to testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. After His resurrection our Lord not only "opened the Scriptures" to His disciples, but also "opened their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures." He is ready to do the same for us.
