Annabel Beam is one of three sisters raised in the Texas countryside by loving parents. But what should have been a happy, carefree childhood was blighted when Annabel developed a painful and seemingly incurable digestive disorder. Her parents spared no expense in the search for a cure, but medical experts assured them there was none. On a rare day when Annabel felt well enough to play outside, she was climbing an old hollowed-out tree when a branch snapped and she fell, head first, thirty feet down inside the tree. Miraculously, she survived the fall but was knocked unconscious. Rescued and later released from hospital, Annabel told her mother, 'you know I went to heaven when I was in that tree'. Annabel shared with her mother her amazing experience of talking to God, who told her that it wasn't her time and that she must go back. What happened next was the greatest miracle of all. Annabel was inexplicably cured of her illness and her doctors could offer no explanation. Written by Annabel's mother Christy, Miracles from Heaven is the story of a little girl's - and a family's - inspiring journey. Deeply moving and heartwarming, the book recounts the fateful day of the accident, Annabel's description of her time in heaven and her miraculous recovery. This is the story of how one family never gave up hope.

Traditional Western religion explains that each human has a spiritual aspect called a soul. However, several passages in the Bible allude to humans having a soul and a spirit. Dan has explored this idea and found numerous modern psychological findings that support this notion. Shamanism and some Eastern religious concepts also support this idea. Diverse concepts such as creativity and mental illness can be explained by the idea that two spiritual forms are in each human.

After wandering through his teenager years with no goals or purpose in life, in 1974 Steve experienced a conversion to Jesus that altered his course in life. With a new and intense excitement to serve God, he pursued the ministry at full speed, graduating from Pacific Christian College (today, Hope University) and Fuller Theological Seminary. Shortly thereafter, Steve became an ordained pastor with American Baptist Churches USA. After serving numerous churches, he was commissioned in 1988 to start Cornerstone Community Church, a new church in Southern California. Ironically, it was during that time that serious doubts arose within his faith, resulting in his leaving the ministry and the faith altogether. Within a year of leaving Cornerstone, Steve earned his teaching credentials and has successfully been teaching for nearly thirty years. In 2012 he was bestowed the honor of becoming San Bernardino County’s teacher of the year. Steve lives in Southern California with Cathy, his high school sweetheart and wife of forty years, and their severely disabled son, Jason. He has one other son, Dan, and three grandsons. As Steve prepares for retirement from teaching, he is perfecting his boating and fishing skills, reading like a machine, and honing his writing skills.

As soon as two doctors asked Melanie Boulis if she would like to sit down, she knew something was wrong. Still, she remained standing. But when the doctors showed Melanie the slides from her twelve-year-old daughter Danielle’s MRI, she immediately lowered herself into a chair, numb from shock and disbelief. In an instant, Melanie’s world changed forever. Danielle had brain cancer. After Danielle was diagnosed with a large tumor on her brain stem, Melanie reveals how she and her husband, Kevin, began a journey through countless tests, surgeries, and treatments—and where nothing mattered but getting their little girl better. As Danielle bravely faced the darkness of brain cancer, Melanie and Kevin felt helpless, unable to do anything else but pray, read Scriptures, sing, and offer words of comfort. As the news gradually transformed from bad to worse, Melanie shares how she and Kevin gained strength through their faith and learned to trust God’s plan, even after He chose heaven for Danielle. Between Heaven and Healing shares the inspirational story of a young girl’s journey through terminal cancer and her parents’ eventual realization that faith is not knowing why, but still believing in His goodness and eternal life where all will be made right, where cancer is nonexistent, and where there will be no more tears.

Since it was first published, more than seven million people have been touched by the magic of The Christmas Box, a holiday classic that is as beloved in our time as A Christmas Carol was in Dickens's. When New York Times bestselling author Richard Paul Evans wrote The Christmas Box, he intended it as a private expression of love for his two young daughters, Jenna and Allyson. Though he often told them that he loved them, he didn't feel that they could ever really understand the depth of his feelings until they had experienced the joy of rearing their own children, and by that time their relationship would have changed forever. In writing The Christmas Box, he hoped that at some time in the future they would read the book and know of their father's love. As Evans began to write, he was amazed at the inspiration that flowed into his mind and heart. He completed the moving story of a widow and the young family who comes to live with her in less than six weeks, and bound twenty copies to give as Christmas presents to family and friends. In the following weeks, those twenty copies were shared and passed along from family to family, from friend to friend, and what began as a tale for two little girls became a message of miracles, hope, and healing for people throughout the world.

A Glimpse of Heaven. A Divine Presence. The Secret of Abundance. A Journey of Miracles is an inspirational, faith-based biography chronicling one sinner's journey into a supernatural realm of spontaneous healing, intuitive feelings, warnings, and a sign of things to come. All with a purpose, a path chosen for her. A path she would never have taken... WE ARE ALL SURROUNDED BY MIRACLES. My journey back in time is one of exploration, frustration, and exhilaration. It's about a little girl's prayer and a young woman's struggle. I know what it's like to be afraid, homeless, abandoned, and a single mom, to suffer from cancer, debilitating anxiety, and a learning disability. My journey defies all logic and sensibility. It explores the supernatural power of faith, strange occurrences, spontaneous healing, intuitive feelings, and a path. A path I never intended to take. This book is not about me. It's about you. I pray that while flipping through its pages, you discover your path and your purpose. I hope you find, hidden between the lines, encouragement, faith, and hope, folded gently into words, and a sprinkle of laughter to lighten your day. And most of all, I hope you find His divine love.
