Devon's search for the truth takes her dangerously close to the powerful Pierson clan and its enigmatic heir apparent, Blake Pierson. But with Olympic show-jumping gold at stake and his family's empire threatened, whose side is Blake on? Time is rapidly running out for Devon. This is true story of the second raid on Schweinfurt, Germany by the Eighth Air Force 1st and 3rd Bombardment Divisions on 14 October 1943. On this day, the Eighth Air Force lost air superiority to the German Luftwaffe in a continuous air battle that lasted over three hours. Many refer to it as the greatest one-day air battle of World War II. Wrong Place, Wrong Time is a study of the 1st Bombardment Division and specifically the 305th Bomb Group on that fateful day. Record numbers of German fighters swarmed over the unescorted B-17s and their crews. Compelling new evidence never before published indicates that mistakes and poor leadership by several air commanders within the 1st Division caused unnecessary losses for a number of bombers and their crews. This, together with major new revelations by crew members of the 305th who flew the mission, shed light on why the 1st Division lost 45 out of 60 B-17s that day. Information for this book comes from the National Archives, the US Air Force Historical Research Center, overseas sources, and 53 surviving 305th crew members who flew this mission. George C. Kuhl was a pilot in the 305th Bomb Group during World War II. He lives in Augusta, Georgia.

Luis takes The Book of Memories home and things get crazy in this third zany novel, part of the all-new In Due Time series. When librarian Valerie Tremt gives student Luis Ramirez a chance to go back in time, he knows just what he wants to do. He plans to go back to 1696 and see exactly where Captain William Kidd left buried treasure, and then return to the spot and retrieve it. He’ll be rich and famous! But when he returns from his time traveling adventure without any treasure, he is inconsolable. To make matters worse, his older brother Rafael doesn’t believe he time traveled at all. Luis decides there’s only one way to convince him. He brings The Book of Memories home to show Rafael, despite Ms. Tremt’s warning that the book is never to leave the library without her permission. Luis ignores her warning—after all, it’s just a book. What could possibly go wrong? Turns out—a lot. When Luis wakes up to find a Viking, Charlie Chaplin, and King Tut wandering around his house, he realizes Ms. Tremt’s warning was no joke. The good news is now Rafael believes him. The bad news is that it’s not going to be easy to get these historical figures back to their proper time periods, especially because none of them want to go home! Can Luis find a way to put everything—and everyone—in the right place before time runs out?

Quite simply, one of the most shocking books of our time. This novel explores the fundamental contradiction between true, pure love and dark, desperate lust, the feigned simplicity of fate's malicious whims and the awful perfection of occasionally being in the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time... Sucked into believing his own dark fantasies, Dave Grimshaw embarks upon a journey that unleashes a terrifying truth from within, giving wings to pent up desires and misguided convictions. Jessica Balans' life appears to be perfect from the outside, but who can ever say what goes on behind closed doors? Life for her and her young family takes an unexpected twist as she descends into the web of lies and deceit her new 'pure' love has spun. A riveting read to the final explosive climax, this book will haunt you for a long time to come.
