'Olaf's Saga' is an historical novel chronicling one Norse man's life in the late 8th century . The story is told by Jón Loftsson a direct descendent of the protagonist, some four hundred years later to his adopted son Snorri. The tale descibes Olaf's background and his upbringing in the harsh Viking world. Olaf has life changing events thrust upon him and as a result he has to make his way in 'Midgard' - the world of men. As a young Norse man, Olaf sees the first brutal death of a Saxon by one of his kind. He takes part in the early raids on Christian monasteries located at remote sites around Britain; experiencing the joy of success and the despair of failure. The entire text is punctuated with references to the Norse pantheon, with characters at times speaking in their all but forgotten language (translations are provided). There are also many references to Norse technology of the time such as their boats - the drakkar and knarr, their weapons, as well as number systems, time telling and various religious festivals. 'Olaf's Saga' not only paints a full and detailed picture of the Norse World, but also tells an intriguing and spell-binding story.

"Howard was the Thomas Wolfe of fantasy, and most of his Conan tales seem to almost fall over themselves in their need to get out."- Stephen King "A hero of mythic proportion, fashioned by a storyteller who helped define what a modern fantasy should be. "Rogues in the House" is one of the finest tales of sword and sorcery ever written."- Raymond E. Feist "Handsome."- Fantasy and Science Fiction Conan the Cimmerian: the boy-thief who became a mercenary, who fought and loved his way across fabled lands to become King of Aquilonia. Religion and spirituality are being transformed in our late modern and secularising times. New forms of belief proliferate, often notable for not being limited to traditional systems of reference or expression. Increasingly, these new religions present worldviews which draw directly upon popular culture - or occulture - in fiction, film, art and the internet. Fantasy and Belief explores the context and implications of these types of beliefs through the example of the Otherkin community. The Otherkin are a loosely-affiliated group who believe themselves to be in some way more than just human, their non-humanity often rooted in the characters and narratives of popular fantasy and science fiction. Challenging much current sociological thinking about spirituality and consumption, Fantasy and Belief reveals how popular occulture operates to recycle, develop, and disseminate metaphysical ideas, and how the popular and the sacred are combining in new ways in today's world.

In a kill-or-die world, one steadfast group of survivors possesses superior fighting skills and sense of fair play that have made them living legends. In their struggle to seek a better way of life, they are unraveling the powerful secrets of the hell on earth called Deathlands. PORTAL TO HELL A pre-dark legacy of shattering promise lies beneath the ruins of nuke-ravaged Seattle. Ryan Cawdor and his warrior companions come face-to-face with the ancestors of a secret society whose members were convinced that paradise awaited at the center of the earth. This cult is inexorably tied to a conspiracy of twentieth-century scientists devoted to fulfilling a vision of genetic manipulation. In this labyrinthine ville, carved from the subterranean passages of a doomed past, some of the descendants of the Illuminated Ones are pursuing the dream of their legacy—while others are dedicated to its nightmare. Even in the Deathlands, twisted human beliefs endure….
