This volume is based on the proceedings of the "NATO Advanced study Institute on Mineral Processing Design" held in Bursa-Turkey on August 24-31, 1984. The institute was organized by Professor B. Yarar of the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado, 80401, USA, Professor G. Ozbayoghu and Professor Z. M. Dogan of METU-Ankara, Turkey, who was the director. The purpose of the institute was to provide an international forum on the subject and update the information available.
