Brilliant, young scientists are drawn together by a Nobel Laureate who has "proved" that space is not empty; it is a continuous fabric made of tiny, entwined "strings". His team is to devise experiments that show his acclaimed equations are true. The professor draws criticism from some faculty for his profound, Christian views. He displays Christian art in his office and teaches a popular Sunday School class across the street from the University.A deadly love triangle erupts among the researchers. A lovely girl is wooed by two very different men: one a devout young Christian, the other a demon-possessed, suave, rich and handsome young man. The rivalry is resolved in a bizarre sequence of events. The tale progresses through a verbal tapestry of intriguing scenarios, filled with emotion, surprises and fascinating facts.

I. BOOK LOGLINE: Homicide detectives must apprehend a theoretical serial killer who has the burning desire to murder once a week for the next eighty-five weeks, which is five hundred and ninety-five days of fear. II. BOOK SYNOPSIS: In a parallel universe, the year is 2063 on an alternate earth. The world’s population was expected to reach 12.8 billion that prosperous year. Nearly one third of the booming population was projected to live on desert lands, which became rich with precipitation, vegetation, and animal life. The AI technology was expected to improve and reach greater heights; the common solar roof panels would be sustaining energy, the rainwater cleansing system would have ended the water shortage, and natural disasters would have no longer existed, but not that year. The world’s population is almost half its projection, the sun is smothered by the murky sky, more lands are inhabitable, and smart-commercial buildings were nearly destroyed by a self-destruct virus that turned all working computers into explosives. Instead, the AI technology is used to rebuild major cities still suffering from the vestiges of nuclear attacks, the centralized governments are using political propaganda to secretly control the population hoping to stop history from repeating itself, and science’s greatest discovery is slowly destroying the foundation of humanity’s moral and religious systems. Not to forget, the world’s most dangerous serial killer is ready to exploit it all after the death of a beloved priest who once conspired to commit a double murder. III. GLOBAL CONCERNS: Shortly after the coordinated terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, also referred to as 9/11, America and the rest of the world has never been the same. Furthermore, in a released video, the religious mastermind for the 9/11 attacks mentioned the hatred of the Crusaders, which was a series of religious wars in the medieval times – many centuries ago. Many religious leaders today have regularly condemned the attacks and those that followed, and consider the manipulations to be contrary to their holy teachings. However, atheists do not agree; they argue that the problem is in religion’s questionable teachings and delusions, which has left similar footprints throughout history. Most importantly, biblical scholars and researchers are already peaking into the possibility of tampered scriptures due to the controversial “slave bible” discovery. The concept of historic recurrence seems very significant at this point, intriguing the public, the media, notable artists, especially historians, and generating many debates whether history repeats itself or not. However, many parties could agree that history does often rhyme. One could say that most governments do not want history to repeat its global catastrophic melodies again, because the next one could be the last. IV. BOOK OBJECTIVE: CADENCE is for those who believe in the interesting concept of historic recurrence. However, this futuristic crime thriller takes that concept much further by applying the doctrines of religion, the arguments of atheism, historical tragic events, scientific innovations, and possible predictions, hoping to show the readers an alternate earth that was nearly condemned for repeating its past despite its advanced technology. Moreover, the tale may leave the audience with one or two burning questions about the fate of the real world, and maybe inspiring them to get more involved in making a positive difference in society. Furthermore, the controversial topic about tampered scriptures might open a new theological discussion about its doctrines, which humanity uses to look at the world and zealously dictate centuries of traditions. Let us remind ourselves that biblical scholars and researchers are already peaking into this tampered possibility due to the controversial “slave bible” discovery. In addition, the reader may be entertained with the characters, the invented technology, and the investigative overall story about the most shocking crime ever committed by man – which has nothing to do with a murder. V. BOOK COVER IDEA: In addition to the controversial topic and the concept of historic recurrence, the purpose of the author’s burning book cover is to depict sacred texts that are slowly being extinct by scientific and political propaganda in this futuristic crime story.

Between 1933 and 1939, representations of the Nazis and the full meaning of Nazism came slowly to Hollywood, growing more ominous and distinct only as the decade wore on. Recapturing what ordinary Americans saw on the screen during the emerging Nazi threat, Thomas Doherty reclaims forgotten films, such as Hitler's Reign of Terror (1934), a pioneering anti-Nazi docudrama by Cornelius Vanderbilt Jr.; I Was a Captive of Nazi Germany (1936), a sensational true tale of "a Hollywood girl in Naziland!"; and Professor Mamlock (1938), an anti-Nazi film made by German refugees living in the Soviet Union. Doherty also recounts how the disproportionately Jewish backgrounds of the executives of the studios and the workers on the payroll shaded reactions to what was never simply a business decision. As Europe hurtled toward war, a proxy battle waged in Hollywood over how to conduct business with the Nazis, how to cover Hitler and his victims in the newsreels, and whether to address or ignore Nazism in Hollywood feature films. Should Hollywood lie low, or stand tall and sound the alarm? Doherty's history features a cast of charismatic personalities: Carl Laemmle, the German Jewish founder of Universal Pictures, whose production of All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) enraged the nascent Nazi movement; Georg Gyssling, the Nazi consul in Los Angeles, who read the Hollywood trade press as avidly as any studio mogul; Vittorio Mussolini, son of the fascist dictator and aspiring motion picture impresario; Leni Riefenstahl, the Valkyrie goddess of the Third Reich who came to America to peddle distribution rights for Olympia (1938); screenwriters Donald Ogden Stewart and Dorothy Parker, founders of the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League; and Harry and Jack Warner of Warner Bros., who yoked anti-Nazism to patriotic Americanism and finally broke the embargo against anti-Nazi cinema with Confessions of a Nazi Spy (1939).
